At apparelsby Sarika, we aim to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining fair and transparent refund practices. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are processed.
By placing an order on our website, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. ELIGIBILITY FOR REFUNDS
Refunds are applicable only under the following conditions:
- The product is returned within 7 days from the date of delivery
- The product is unused, unwashed, unworn, and in original condition
- All original tags, labels, and packaging are intact
- The return request is approved after quality inspection
Products failing to meet these conditions will not be eligible for a refund.
2. RETURN REQUEST PROCESS
To request a refund:
- Email us at apparelsbysarika@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery
- Mention your order number and reason for return
- Our support team will review and approve the request
- Once approved, the customer must ship the product back to us
Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.
3. RETURN SHIPPING COST
- Return shipping costs are to be borne by the customer
- We do not provide free reverse pickup unless explicitly stated
- Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable
This clause is intentional to prevent misuse of return policies.
4. REFUND PROCESS & TIMELINE
- Refunds are processed only after the returned product passes quality inspection
- Once approved, refunds will be initiated within 5–7 business days
- The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at checkout
For COD orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer or UPI after the customer shares valid details.
5. DEDUCTIONS FROM REFUND AMOUNT
The following may be deducted from the refund amount:
- Return shipping charges
- COD charges (if applicable)
- Any damage or signs of use
- Packaging loss or missing tags
The final refund amount will be communicated after inspection.
6. DAMAGED / WRONG / DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:
- Report the issue within 48 hours of delivery
- Share clear photos/videos of the product and packaging
Upon verification, we may:
- Offer a replacement, or
- Issue a refund at our discretion
Claims raised after 48 hours may not be accepted.
7. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS
The following items are not eligible for refunds:
- Items marked as “Non-Returnable” on the product page
- Products purchased during sales, discounts, or promotional offers (unless stated otherwise)
- Items showing signs of use, washing, or damage caused by the customer
- Customized or altered products (if introduced in the future)
8. REFUND DELAYS
Refund delays may occur due to:
- Bank or payment gateway processing timelines
- Incorrect bank/UPI details provided by the customer
- Public holidays or unforeseen technical issues
apparelsby Sarika shall not be held liable for delays beyond its reasonable control.
9. ORDER CANCELLATION & REFUND
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only
- If cancelled before dispatch, a full refund will be issued (excluding payment gateway charges, if any)
- Orders cannot be cancelled once shipped
10. FRAUD PREVENTION & ABUSE
We reserve the right to:
- Reject refund requests suspected of misuse or fraud
- Blacklist customers with repeated refund or COD abuse
- Take legal action if false claims are made
11. POLICY CHANGES
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice.
Changes will be effective immediately upon being updated on the website.
12. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
This Refund Policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Amritsar, Punjab courts.
