REFUND, RETURN & Exchange Policy

At apparelsby Sarika, we strive to provide high-quality products and a smooth shopping experience. This policy explains the terms under which returns, refunds, and exchanges are accepted.

By placing an order on our website, you agree to the terms mentioned below.


1. RETURN / EXCHANGE ELIGIBILITY

We accept returns and exchanges within 3-4 days from the date of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

  • The product must be unused, unwashed, unworn
  • All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact
  • The product must be returned in its original condition
  • The return/exchange request must be approved by our team

Products failing quality inspection will not be accepted.


2. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN OR EXCHANGE

To initiate a return or exchange:

  1. Email us at apparelsbysarika@gmail.com within 3-4 days of delivery
  2. Mention your order number and reason for return/exchange
  3. Our support team will review and approve the request
  4. Once approved, the customer must ship the product back to us

Unapproved or delayed requests may be rejected.


3. RETURN SHIPPING COST

  • Return shipping charges must be borne by the customer
  • We do not offer free reverse pickup unless explicitly stated
  • Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable

This policy helps us maintain fair pricing for all customers.


4. EXCHANGE POLICY

  • Exchanges are allowed subject to stock availability
  • Exchanges are permitted only once per order
  • If the requested exchange item is unavailable:
    • A refund will be processed, or
    • Store credit may be offered (at our discretion)

Exchange shipping costs may be applicable.


5. REFUND POLICY

Refund Method

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • For COD orders, refunds will be issued via UPI or bank transfer

Refund Timeline

  • Refunds are initiated within 7–10 business days after quality inspection
  • Bank/payment gateway timelines may vary

6. DEDUCTIONS FROM REFUND AMOUNT

The following may be deducted:

  • Return shipping charges
  • COD charges (if applicable)
  • Damaged, missing tags, or used items
  • Packaging damage or missing components

The final refund amount will be communicated after inspection.


7. DAMAGED / WRONG / DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

  • Notify us within 24 hours of delivery
  • Share clear photos/videos of the product and packaging

After verification, we may offer:

  • Replacement, or
  • Refund (at our discretion)

Claims raised after 48 hours may not be accepted.


8. NON-RETURNABLE / NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

The following items are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange:

  • Products marked as “Non-Returnable”
  • Items purchased during sales, discounts, or promotional offers (unless stated otherwise)
  • Products showing signs of wear, washing, or damage by the customer
  • Customized or altered products (if introduced in the future)

9. ORDER CANCELLATION

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only
  • Once dispatched, cancellations are not permitted
  • Refunds for cancelled orders (before dispatch) will be processed after deducting applicable payment gateway charges, if any

10. COD (CASH ON DELIVERY) TERMS

  • COD orders may be verified before dispatch
  • Repeated refusal of COD orders may result in:
    • Restriction of COD service
    • Blacklisting of the customer account

11. FRAUD PREVENTION & MISUSE

We reserve the right to:

  • Reject return/refund/exchange requests suspected of misuse
  • Refuse service to repeat offenders
  • Take necessary legal action for false claims or fraudulent activity

12. POLICY MODIFICATIONS

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
Updated policies will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.


13. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

This policy shall be governed by the laws of India.
All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Amritsar, Punjab courts.
